Buddha image enshrinement ceremony at Khao Tham Naka
Khao Tham Naka, a small hill beside Phra Buddha Karuna Uposatha, enshrines a Buddha image in the First Sermon posture as a place for veneration and recollection of the Buddha's immeasurable virtue.
History
On Visakha Bucha Day, June 1, 2026, the day commemorating the Buddha's birth, awakening, and passing into parinibbana, Bhāvanārām Lopburi held a ceremony to enshrine the Buddha image in the First Sermon posture at Khao Tham Naka, Khao Noi, beside Phra Buddha Karuna Uposatha. Khun Pak Laosuwannawat and family offered the three-meter sandstone Buddha image, named "Phra Buddha Suwan Pathom Thesana Bhāvanārām", in homage to the boundless virtues of the Buddha.
